Frequently Asked Questions: |
|
How
can my company make Rent-DirectCorporate.com
services available to our employees? |
|
|
Any
corporation can form a relationship with us by
agreeing to circulating a memo we provide about our
services to all employees via inter-office
communication and in relocation
packages. |
|
|
|
Will
employees be limited in their options if they
choose to find an apartment through
Rent-DirectCorporate.com?
|
|
Employees
will have even more choice than normally.
Rent-DirectCorporate.com has more listings than any
traditional broker. We carry every type of dwelling
for people with rental budgets of $900-$12,000 in
Manhattan, Brooklyn, some parts of New Jersey, and
Queens. In addition, our web site and
representatives' assistance allow client to see as
many apartments as they like instead of the
selected few that a rental agent has time to
show.
|
|
|
|
Why
do employees have to prepay
Rent-DirectCorporate.com when they would not have
to pre pay a traditional Broker?
|
|
Rent-Direct Corporate
requests a retainer fee as part of our agreement to
work with a client until they find an apartment.
This allows us to provide unpressured assistance to
clients in their apartment search for as long as
necessary. We keep the retainer fee of just $950.00
as our sole compensation only when our client finds
an apartment through our service.
|
|
|
|
What
happens to the retainer fee if employees do not
find an apartment with
Rent-DirectCorporate.com? |
|
The
successes of Rent-Direct and our Real Estate
Professionals in the traditional marketplace makes
this unlikely, however, if a client shows us a
signed lease for an apartment not offered by our
Rent-DirectCorporate.com landlord inventory, we
will give client a full refund of their $950 minus
a non-refundable $125 for administration and credit
report processing costs.

|
|
If
my employees use your No-Fee service, will they be
able to get any support from
Rent-DirectCorporate.com? |
|
Yes.
Rent-Direct.com offers professional, unbiased
Customer Support. We will be available during
normal business hours to answer your employees'
real estate and apartment related questions by
phone or email, or to modify your employees search
profile. Of course, our Apartment Rental Consultant
Services offer far more direct contact with your
employee, and more personal involvement with every
phase of the housing search.
|
|
|
|
Is
there any kind of Money-back Guarantee if our
employee is not successful in their No-Fee
apartment search? |
|
Yes.
Use our No-Fee service for at least 30 days. If you
ultimately pay a broker's commission to find your
home, we will refund $50 upon proof of your
employee having paid a commission. Full terms are
online in the Terms of Service link available at
the start of the registration process. |

How
long does it take to run a credit report? Couldn't
I be losing the apartment in that
time? |
|
It
takes about 7 minutes to run your basic credit
report and tell you what you will need to apply for
an apartment then we can send you to go see it.
|
|
|
|
Why
do you run a credit report before sending us out to
see an apartment when traditional Brokers do
not? |
|
We
have been in the New York Real Estate industry for
over 20 years and have found that too often a
client can lose an apartment do to poor credit or
lack of financial preparation to compensate for
questionable or poor credit. When we run the credit
report in advance and counsel you on how to prepare
yourself for applying for an apartment, we are
helping you and the landlord avoid disappointment
and wasted time. Since using this system, we have
never had a client turned down due to lack of
financial paperwork or credit issues. |
|
|
|
|
Do
you have to run a credit report on everyone
involved in the apartment search or will one person
be enough? |
|
Just
as the landlord will run a credit report on all
roommates and guarantors, we do the same so that we
can fully prepare you for your application process.
